Holidays with or without a dog

Our Suite Aila is located on the ground floor of a two-family house in Alter Warf 2, in a traffic-calmed 30s zone in the heart of Varel with easy access to major roads (about 5 minutes by car to the highway).

The lovingly furnished apartment is for 1 to 4 people optimally equipped and modern. There is a baby cot for your baby.
You can bring up to 3 small / medium dogs (knee-high) or up to 2 large dogs. If you do not fit into our scheme with your group composition (human and animal), please send us an e-mail with your key data and we’ll see if and what can be done for you, because different assignments are possible depending on the dog or group size.

Varel is a modern small town in Friesland, Lower Saxony, directly on the Jade Bay of the North Sea.
Varied recreational opportunities and destinations in Varel and the surrounding area are only one jump away from our apartment Aila.

In Varel you have very good shopping: famila, Aldi, Lidl, netto and many small retailers offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. If you do not want to cook, there are restaurants, snack bars and ice cream parlors on foot. The city center of Varel with its pedestrian zone is only 500 m away from the Suite Aila, where you will also find all financial institutions and the post office.

The movement in the fresh air can take place directly in Varel without a car, because the Vareler city forest is very central and is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There you can take short or long walks or jogging rounds with or without a dog.

Let’s go: Friesland is waiting to be discovered by you, whether on foot, on paws, by bike – and if necessary also by car.

The Wadden Sea World Heritage is on your doorstep and to start the holiday right, we recommend a walk around the Varel harbor (ca. 2,5 km). Numerous restaurants invite to small or large breaks and more than half of the tour you can enjoy without car traffic.

If you are cycling, you should also start with a tour to the Varel harbor. From there it goes, for example, right on the dike long to the North Sea resort Dangast (ca. 10 km).
